OOV FUNDAMENTALS IS A PRE REQUISITE FOR THIS COURSE!

The Oov Pilates Apparatus course is a Comprehensive bridge between the Oov Fundamentals course and higher movement performance.

The Inclusion of traditional Pilates apparatus gives the practitioner the ability to diagnose and address the individual’s movement through Proprioceptive Neuro- Plasticity at an unprecedented level. Students will learn the nuances of adding or removing load and resistance to increase mobility or to increase fine motor control.

    Kearsten is a highly trained Pilates and Movement Therapist in Toronto, Ontario. She is a Physiotherapy Assistant and a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. She is a trauma informed practitioner and specializes in rehabilitation specifically orthopaedic conditions, chronic pain, scoliosis, pre and post natal and complex cases. She also works with professional athletes and dancers focusing on injury prevention and performance. Kearsten aims to make movement accessible and meaningful for her clients while helping them make sense to themselves. A passionate student and educator, Kearsten strives to be the best practitioner she can be and is always studying or continuing her education. She believes movement is medicine and strives to deliver innovative offerings and education to her community, peers and rehabilitation professionals. Kearsten is the Founder and Director of Toronto Movement Therapy, a multidisciplinary clinic in Toronto. She is delighted to be an Educator for the Oov in Ontario – it is a game changer!
